Southwestern Oregon Veterans Outreach, SOVO, is located upstairs in the Pony Village Mall Suite 212, North Bend, Oregon. Our office is open weekdays 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Please visit
and check us out. We have free coffee and water. Military ball caps and decals are available at or near our cost.( VRO).
We serve those from Coos and Curry counties and Western Douglas and Lane counties. However our services are open to clients regardless of where they live.
ALL OF OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AT NO COST!
We have two accredited Veterans Service Officers (VSO’s) for filing disability claims, pension claims, and for survivor’s benefits. We offer assistance in numerous areas such as:
-assisting with the National Cemetery burial process
-obtaining documents such as driver’s licenses, birth certificates, Military discharge documents, and medical records, medals, and personnel files
-applying for VA health and issues related to the VA Health System
-housing referrals for homeless veterans
-a small emergency fund administered with a ‘hand up’ not a hand out approach.
PLEASE REMEMBER US IN YOUR CHARITABLE GIVING PROGRAM. We receive little or no Government funding and rely on the support of private donors such as yourselves. No salaries or benefits are paid allowing us to deliver a tremendous bang for the buck in supporting Veterans.

Southwestern Oregon Veterans Outreach,SOVO trains volunteers to lend help where they can with issues such as helping veterans find health care, food, housing and benefit information.
